I filmed this walking tour on the night of the 2022 World Cup Final, when Argentina faced France. It was around midnight in Saigon, but the street was still full of energy, excitement, and football fans from all around the world.

But on World Cup Final night, the atmosphere became even more intense.

The most impressive part was the mix of people.


Vietnamese locals, backpackers, tourists, football fans, and partygoers were all gathered together in one place.


Some people were wearing team jerseys. Others were watching nervously with drinks in their hands. Every big moment in the match created loud reactions from the crowd.

It felt like a global celebration.

Before kickoff, the streets were already full of excitement. Groups of foreign visitors, many of them appearing to be from the UK and other European countries, gathered outside the bars.
